2023 Season Specifics

2023 Season Information:

Practice:

Teams will practice on average two times/week from late March until the conclusion of the season for 1.5 to 2 hours a session. Most practices will be held during the week (typically M-W or T-TH) with dates, times, and locations set once the teams are selected. The Stars primarily use Bloomington Kennedy and Jefferson, Wayzata and Hopkins for practices. Weekend practices are possible when tournaments are not being held, we like to utilize those early in the season especially.

Team Fee Structure:

Team fees for the 2023 season are as follows: 4-5-6 Grade-$790, 7-8 Grade-$1100 and 9-10-11 Grade-$1390. Once you have an official Stars team offer, families can opt to pay in full or set up an electronic payment plan through sports engine. The fee will cover everything except an AAU card ($16) and player expense(s) to any out-of-state tournaments.  All players will get a gear package with items they will keep at the conclusion of the season, these gear packages also vary a bit by age level. Players in grades 9-11 also receive shoes as a part of their gear package. Uniforms will be provided but will be turned in at the end of the season.

Tournaments:

Stars teams typically play between 6-10 tournaments from April-July based on age level.  Teams will play in both local and regional/national tournaments also based on age level and team level. Final tournament schedules for each team will be set by late 2022 into early 2023.
