We are excited about the change the Minnesota Stars are announcing today. We are now going to be part of Under Armour Girls basketball. They have been in contact with us over the last year and we have decided that the direction they are going is the best direction for the young ladies that represent the Stars. Under Armour is the most revolutionary apparel company out there and it seems that the younger market is loving their apparel. They have more flexibility than addias had for us allowing us to go where we think it is best for the Minnesota Stars girls. We had a great run with adidas for over a decade however it was time for a new direction with an organization that has some very talented clubs already in their program. They have also asked our President Mark Smith to serve on their board. He will be one of 4 directors for the country. This will give him more advantages to promote our young ladies nationally and make sure the direction Under Armour is going is the correct way to help Minnesota Girls basketball.

The executive Director for Under Armour girls basketball Bryan Alexander states “ the Minnesota Stars have been a leading club in girls basketball for 15 years and they were the leading club we sought to partner with. You will see some great things happen in the Midwest with Under Armour and the Minnesota Stars leading the way.”
